Evolution of Design
New and improved design of my popular Nathan Drake replica holster from the Uncharted 3 video game by Sony.
Most of the large improvements have been in the leather selection and some hardware changes.
I have chosen to go with a Kodiak Oiled leather with a softer and more worn feel. It is not your typical gun leather that is stiff and unforgiving. It looks great and has a great, lightweight feel.
Some of the hardware had been upgraded to solid brass pieces over pressed or rolled brass.
Most significantly, however, is the color change from V1 to V2. You will also notice the leather change from V2 to V3 has a less shiny look. I think it makes a huge difference in the replica consistency. I also have tightened up the pattern to more snugly fit the Colt 1911 pistol. But it also fits a Beretta M9 very well.
